Culture Spot 02: Constitution Day

Today is Constitution Day in the United States, a federal holiday created by the Congress in 2004 to celebrate the signing of the US Constitution in Pennsylvania on September 17th, 1787. Unlike other federal holidays, Constitution Day is not celebrated by taking a day off from work or school. Instead, all federally funded schools are to use this day to teach students the US Constitution and its history.
