Political cartoon by Steve Breen of The San Diego Union-Tribune in California and published on 3 November 2010.
In most polling places in the United States, you are given a “I Voted” sticker when you leave to let others know that you did your civic duty as a voter. In the cartoon, the cartoonist drew a voter with a sticker, “I Vented.” The media described those who voted Tuesday as angry voters and who were very motivated to vote in order to vent their anger. They say it’s very healthy to vent if done in a constructive way. If you vent, you express your feelings of anger very strongly.
